Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026-07-13
These terms are an agreement between you and Saywell ("we", "us"), the operator of saywell.cv. By creating an account or using Saywell you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. What Saywell is
Saywell is a job-application assistant: it analyzes and rewrites CVs, generates practice interview sessions with AI feedback, and tracks applications. AI-generated output is assistance, not professional careers, legal, or hiring advice. You are responsible for reviewing anything Saywell produces before you send it to an employer.
2. Your account
You need an account for most features, created through our authentication provider (Clerk), including sign-in with Google. You must provide accurate information and keep access to your account secure. You must be at least 16 years old to use Saywell.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload or record: CVs, answers, recordings, application notes. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service — storing your content, processing it with the AI providers listed in the Privacy Policy, and showing it back to you. We do not sell your content and we do not use it to advertise to you. Do not upload content you have no right to share, and do not use Saywell to produce false claims about your experience — the product is built to keep your CV truthful, not to fabricate it.
4. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the service: no reverse-engineering, scraping, reselling access, probing for vulnerabilities, sending malware, or using the AI features to generate unlawful or deceptive material. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Paid plans and tokens
Some features require a paid plan or one-time token packs, billed through our payment provider (Polar). Prices and what each plan includes are shown on the pricing page at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you can cancel any time and keep access until the end of the paid period. Token packs are consumed on use and are non-refundable once spent. If a purchase went wrong (double charge, feature never delivered), email us and we will make it right.
6. Availability and changes
Saywell is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and AI output can be wrong. We may change or discontinue features; if we discontinue something you paid for, we will refund the unused portion.
7. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages — lost opportunities, lost profits, or decisions employers make. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Ending the agreement
You can stop using Saywell and delete your account at any time (see the Data Usage & Deletion Policy). We may terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where reasonable.
9. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms materially, we will update the date at the top and note the change in the product before it takes effect. Continuing to use Saywell after the change means you accept the new terms.
