Data Usage & Deletion Policy

This page is the practical companion to the Privacy Policy: what Saywell stores about you, what it is used for, and exactly how to get it deleted.

1. What we store, feature by feature

• CV Lab — uploaded CV files, the text extracted from them, and every analysis and rewrite you generate. Stored so you can return to your work.
• Practice — transcripts of your answers, delivery metrics (pace, filler words, eye contact), and AI feedback. The audio itself is transcribed and discarded, not stored. Camera video for eye-contact analysis is processed in your browser and never uploaded.
• Tracker — the jobs and applications you save, statuses, and notes.
• Account & billing — your Clerk profile (name, email, photo), plan, purchase history, and token ledger.

2. What your data is never used for

• It is never sold or rented to anyone.
• It is never used for third-party advertising.
• It is never used to train AI models — our AI providers process it via API terms that exclude training.
• It is never shown to other Saywell users.

3. Deleting individual items

You can delete a saved CV from your account page at any time; this removes the file and its extracted text. Tracker entries can be deleted in the Tracker.

4. Deleting your whole account

Email nurayzhumasseit@gmail.com from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". Within 30 days we will delete your authentication profile and all data linked to your account: CVs and CV files, analyses and rewrites, practice transcripts and feedback, tracker entries, and usage records. Billing records that we are legally required to retain (invoices) are kept for the statutory period, detached from your deleted profile.

5. Consent record

When you create an account, we record the date and the version of the legal documents you agreed to. This record is deleted with your account.
